Horimitsu is a distinguished Japanese tattoo artist based in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, renowned for his mastery of tebori, the traditional hand-poked tattooing technique. As an apprentice of the esteemed Horitoshi I, Horimitsu has cultivated a unique style that harmoniously blends classical irezumi motifs with contemporary artistic sensibilities.

One of his notable projects is the “1000 Tigers Club,” a series that showcases his dedication to traditional Japanese artistry. This collection features an array of tiger-themed designs, reflecting the cultural significance of the tiger in Japanese folklore and art. Each piece in the series embodies Horimitsu’s commitment to preserving and evolving the rich heritage of Japanese tattooing.
